Recommended Reading List
A brief note from Abby Leora Rohrer:
In the recommended reading list for adults are some of the books that I read while I was healing my own compulsive hairpulling. Many of them had a big impact on my life and my own journey to freedom. I've placed asterisks before those that I feel are must-reads for adults working to heal from trichotillomania. That said, trust yourself to know which books "speak" to you and which don't. Some of them, specifically those by Ken Wilber and A Course in Miracles, may be particularly challenging. Use your own sense of what's right for you at this time.
I have also put together the Parent's List to guide parents working on helping their child to end hair pulling. If you would like more information and articles on helping your child to gain freedom, please visit: www.hairpullingchild.com.
Warm regards,
Abby Leora Rohrer
